I worked on a pitch for Duracell. In the strategic brief we were asked to focus on millennials as our target audience. One of the key pain points for this audience is that more and more devices are rechargeable, so they don’t need batteries. One area my team focused on was 'gamers', and with research we found that gamers often use wireless remotes, which still require batteries. So for this concept we created an app for the x-box console. The app would monitor battery levels, based on how often the user uses their remote control, and would pre-order the right number and type of batteries to be delivered to their home, when batteries were running low.
